Q:   How can I contact Faith Harbor?
A:   You can contact us by calling 808- 381-7880,  emailing us at, or visiting us during our open house hours.

Q:   What are your open house hours?
A:   Open house is held weekly to give those interested in Faith Harbor Adult Care an opportunity to tour the facility, meet the staff and get more information.  Normal open house hours are Sunday from 2pm - 5pm. Please call one day ahead to let us know you are coming. Our address is 5783 Kalanianaole Hwy., Honolulu HI 96821

Q:   What services does Faith Harbor offer?
A:    Faith Harbor offers:

  1. Pleasant living accommodations
  2. Twenty-four hour care available to each resident
  3. Assistance with personal care needs
  4. Planned recreational, physical, and mental activities
  5. Medication management
  6. Nutritious and delicious food
  7. Housekeeping and laundry services
  8. Transportation services
Q:   What is included in the basic pricing?
A:   Basic pricing includes accommodations, three meals each day and snacks and beverages.  It also includes housekeeping, daily bed making, tidying up, as well as weekly cleaning and laundry services.  Basic care assistance, such as one bath or shower each day as well as reminders, cues, or stand-by assistance with medications, activities, and exercise.
Prior to moving in the level of care will be assessed.

Q:   Does Faith Harbor offer activities?
A:    Yes, we believe that activities play a very important role in the lives of our residents. Being involved in daily activities helps residents maintain a sense of independence, self-respect, and belonging. Our staff will work on identifying resident’s needs and interests, and will create group and individual activities to accommodate them.

Q:   Do you admit residents who have Alzheimer's disease or other dementia?
A:    Our current staff is experienced and trained in this type of care. Daily activities will be tailored to meet the special needs of those with cognitive impairment. 

Q:   Can I continue to use my personal physician?
A:   Yes, we encourage residents to continue the relationship with their physician. Our staff will assist with making appointments and arranging transportation.

Q:   Is Faith Harbor wheelchair accessible?
A:   Yes, our home is wheelchair accessible.  Resident accommodations such as bedroom, dinning room, and bathroom have been modified to allow easy and convenient wheelchair access. There are hand rails and grab bars in place for additional support and safety.

Q:   Can residents bring their own furnishings?
A:    Residents of Faith Harbor may bring personal belongings and small items to furnish their rooms and make their accommodations comfortable. 

Q:   What form of payment is accepted?
A:   Acceptable forms of payment are personal or company checks, money orders, and cash.  Other methods of payment, such as MasterCard or Visa are accepted also.

Q:  Do you accept insurance payments?
A:   Some long-term care insurance policies will reimburse you for our services.  Please check with your insurance agent for details of your policy.
